The Belgium Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel an educational music institution inaugurated by the Queen in 1931 is now calling music lovers around the world for an unique journey full of musical and sightseeing delights. Having explored Libya in 2007 and the Jewels of the Adriatic in 2009, the third edition of the “Queen Elisabeth Musical Voyage” invites guests to explore the crossroad of civilisations of the West and the Orient. As the cruise slowly flows through Istanbul, Kuşadası, Rhodes, Santorini, Nafplion and Athens, guests will be enlightened by the ongoing musical feast featuring Masters in residence, guest artists as well as the young soloists from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. Intimate encounters with musicians at rehearsals and the two daily concerts will certainly fill up your days on board with joy and inspiration.
In the 2011 edition, guests will be able to listen to the wonderful performances by Abdel Rahman El Bacha, José van Dam, Augustin Dumay, Louis Lortie, Sébastien Parotte as well as
Sinfonia Varsovia under the baton of Christopher Warren-Green.
