Queen Elisabeth Musical Voyage

The Queen Elisabeth Musical Voyage is a one-week marine journey organized by Queen Elisabeth College of Music, offering a valuable opportunity for its talented students and the public to experience a unique musical tour. This year, one of the most beautiful of present-day cruise ships, the Silver Whisper, will carry four masters-in-residence, six invited artists, around 10 young college soloists and the highly regarded Sinfonia Varsovia chamber orchestra, along with 300 music-loving passengers, across the Adriatic Sea from Venice to Corfu. This musical voyage will help people to discover the College of Music from the inside through rich and intense musical experiences. Meetings, rehearsals and concerts will be held daily on board or at an exceptional site. Celebrated artists include Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Augustin Dumay, José van Dam, Artemis Quartet, Piotr Anderszewski, Szabolcs Brickner, Louis Lortie, Maxim Rysanov, Béatrice Uria-Monzon, Jian Wang and Christopher Warren-Green. The organizers say the voyage will provide a comfortable and elegant environment with a high degree of artistry to delight all music lovers.
