Established in 1982, the festival is an important cultural offering dedicated to classical music in California. Located in the famous Gold Country, the event features three seasonal sessions in a row every Spring, Summer and Winter, presenting classical music together with concerts of pops, jazz, big band and Broadway music. Guests can lay back comfortably, enjoying outstanding chamber concerts in the cabaret-style seating around candlelit tables; or sitting over the beautiful Nevada County Fairgrounds under the stars for the outdoor Picnic & Pops concerts- a genuine audio sensation not to be missed.

In the 2011 Winter Festival, audience will be happy to listen to the 90-voice Festival Chorale and Foothill Childrens Chorus singing all time favourites under the baton of Ryan Murray and Gregory Vajda.
