Founded by André Böröcz in 1950, the festival has become one of the most important musical showcases in France. Located in the baroque architecture of St. Michael’s Basilica, the festival features a series of classical music performances of highest quality. The peaceful panoramic seaview outside the Basilica will surely double audience’s enjoyment of world class concerts. As the programmes are classified into five categories, namely “Great Virtuosi”, “Garden of Harmonics”, “Grand Repertoire”, “Young Virtuosi” and “Music in the Square”, all music lovers will be glad to find their favourites.

In 2011, English Chamber Orchestra will make a couple of collaborations with Boris Berezovsky, Kazuki Yamada, Vadim Repin and Andreï Gridchuk. Natalie Dessay will team up with Michel Legrand whilst Aldo Ciccolini will be on stage with Jean-Yves Thibaudet. Camerata de Salzburg, Kent Nagano, Maria Joao Pires and more will also be under the spotlight.
