Bringing top musicians from all over the world to Japan since 2006, the Takamatsu International Piano Competition aims at introducing a fresh perspective in music to Kagawa’s traditional culture. The competition is to be held at Sunport Takamatsu, a venue which provides impressive views of the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. Winners will have the opportunity to further pursue their music careers by staging their own recitals and performing with international orchestras. Comprising a number of international musicians, the Jury will be led by the Japanese pianist Shuku Iwasaki.
