The International Jeunesses Musicales Competition Belgrade was founded in 1969 by one of the world’s biggest non-profit networks for youth and music, the Jeunesses Musicales International. With the aim of working against causes of international conflict through the universal language of music, this network is regarded by UNESCO as one of the most important youth culture organizations worldwide. Dedicated to the most gifted musicians at the beginning of their international careers, the competition welcomes young talents from anywhere around the world every year, competing to show the highest level of professional readiness and competence on stage. Winners will receive cash prizes and also career promotions through concerts and publicity by Jeunesses Musicales.
