Jeunesses International Music Competition

Established since 1994 in Romania as part of the EUROPAfest , the event aims to discover and promote young talents through competition with master-classes and concerts. The event features five disciplines, the violin, flute, clarinet, piano and composition, on rotation annually. “Queen Elisabeth of Belgium” International Music Competition

In memory of Eugène Ysaÿe, the celebrated Belgian violin virtuoso and composer, the competition was first set up in 1937 by Queen Elisabeth of Belgium. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious and demanding music competitions in the world. Participants are expected to perform works by a Belgian composer and a compulsory piece written especially for the contest.
